As a sales director you can manage and help grow sales and revenue for companies around the world. You also help in developing program leads to increase sales figures and revenue for the clients you work for, with stakeholders, and possibly the Vice President of Sales for different companies. Sales Directors also help determine the company’s goals and explain the areas that are failing and help make adjustments that will help increase the bottom line.
In this position, you can expect to earn a pretty good salary, but it is not an easy job. The hours are long, but as a remote worker, you often have the freedom to work the hours and location you choose. You can earn anywhere from $130K, to over $200K per year as a sales director.
Although the positions are limited, and advanced degrees are generally required, if you get in contact with the right company and people, you can work from home, and you can expect to earn a rather high salary.
